Lewes face a replay against Ridgeons Eastern Counties League side Leiston on Tuesday at the Dripping Pan, kick off 7.45.

Despite missing an early penalty, Lewes took a first half lead at Leiston's Victory Lane on Saturday through Stefan Cox, but minutes after the break, a looping cross from Danny Cunningham sneaked over Lewes keeper Rikki Banks, hitting the inside of the post and bouncing off the keeper for Leiston's equaliser…

Lewes enjoyed a successful night on Wednesday, progressing in two cup competitions.

For the third year running, the Youth side reached the first round of the FA Youth Cup with a 4-2 win away to Ebbsfleet. In front of a good crowd, Lewes took an early two goal lead through Tim Rivers and David Wheeler.

Eight years ago, the Board of Directors of Lewes Football Club embarked upon a planned development of the Dripping Pan carried out in three principal phases; the construction of the Philcox Stand; the Rookery South Stand; and the work to the Eastern Ham Lane end.

These works were phased to meet grant criteria set out by the Football Stadia Improvement Fund, the level at which the first team were then playing at, and the source of the very significant funds required to complete the projects…

Lewes Manager Kevin Keehan said he felt "ecstatic" after he saw his side claim their first win of the season, at home to Oxford United.

Despite going behind to Joe Burnell's 62nd minute header, the Rooks didn't let their heads go down and two goals in the last eleven minutes, an equaliser from Michael Standing and Sam Gargan's 88th minute winner, secured Lewes a well-earned victory. Report

Following a scheduled Meeting on Monday evening, the Board of Directors met with Kevin Keehan on Tuesday to discuss the season so far.

It was agreed by all parties that results have been disappointing and that some changes will be required to improve the team’s poor form. As a result, Kevin Keehan is looking to strengthen the playing squad in key areas and equally, the Board of Directors are looking to raise more funds via commercial activity…

This is the first time that TV cameras have broadcast live from the Pan and the first time a Lewes match has been shown live. Setanta staff have been busy since yesterday morning setting up the equipment, and we expect over 40 of them to be busy by the time the match kicks off tonight at 7.45pm…
