Lewes Manager Kevin Keehan said he felt "ecstatic" after he saw his side claim their first win of the season, at home to Oxford United.

Despite going behind to Joe Burnell's 62nd minute header, the Rooks didn't let their heads go down and two goals in the last eleven minutes, an equaliser from Michael Standing and Sam Gargan's 88th minute winner, secured Lewes a well-earned victory. Report

Charlton youngster Aswad Thomas has joined the Rooks on loan for a month on Friday.

Lewes FC today announce the signing of Aswad Thomas from Charlton Athletic. Aswad is a left sided defender and is on a months loan from Charlton. He goes straight into the team for tomorrows game against Oxford in place of the suspended Danny Cullip…

Following a scheduled Meeting on Monday evening, the Board of Directors met with Kevin Keehan on Tuesday to discuss the season so far.

It was agreed by all parties that results have been disappointing and that some changes will be required to improve the team’s poor form. As a result, Kevin Keehan is looking to strengthen the playing squad in key areas and equally, the Board of Directors are looking to raise more funds via commercial activity…

Sam started the season on a month's loan with Havant, but Keehan was eager to snap him up for the Rooks when his deal ended…

The Rook's debut in front of the Setanta Sports cameras ended in disappointment after an encouraging first half display against Rushden & Diamonds.

Lewes FC are proud to welcome Setanta Sports to the Dripping Pan for tonight's historic match against Rushden and Diamonds.

This is the first time that TV cameras have broadcast live from the Pan and the first time a Lewes match has been shown live. Setanta staff have been busy since yesterday morning setting up the equipment, and we expect over 40 of them to be busy by the time the match kicks off tonight at 7.45pm…

With the live televised game just around the corner, Lewes manager Kevin Keehan looks set to be without some key players for the visit of Rushden on Thursday.

Keehan said "Danny Cullip is desperate to play, but I’d rather know that he’s 110% ok than risk him. I’d prefer to give him the ten days [rest until the Altrincham match] and lose him for the one game against Rushden than six or seven."…
