Winger Heidi Logan has joined Lewes FC for the 2021/22 season after leaving Birmingham City. The 20-year-old from Tipton arrives at The Dripping Pan having spent the last six years at Birmingham’s Regional Talent Club.

Logan becomes boss Simon Parker’s third signing of the summer and adds further attacking depth to the Women’s Championship squad.

The offensive playmaker began her path to professional football at the age of just seven when West Bromwich Albion picked her up and deployed her as a winger and striker. She moved to Birmingham as a 14-year-old and developed into a No 10.

Logan was a member of the Blues team that reached an FA Youth Cup final and she signed her first professional contract at the age of 18. She has since earned caps at England U19 level.

Unfortunately an ACL rupture meant Logan had to put her career on hold but she arrives in East Sussex “Feeling fit, sharp and ready to go!”

Logan said: “I’m really happy to have signed for this club, and can not wait to get started!”

Manager Simon Parker commented: “Heidi is dynamic, energetic and runs all day. She has an eye for goal and is hungry for the opportunity. She’s going to be a key player for us.”
